Core C: Instrumentation

Library Design, Analysis & Purification: Instrumentation

The LDAP Core is an inherently instrument-intensive operation, providing state-of-the-practice analytical resources to the CMLD. Some major pieces of equipment include the following:

 Waters Preparative HPLC

Waters ESI TOF Spectrometer

400 MHz Bruker NMR w/ BACS 60 Autosampler

GeneVac DD-4 Parallel Evaporator

GeneVac EZ-2 Plus Personal Evaporator

Genevac HT-12

Mettler Toledo Flexiweigh

Tecan Freedom Evo 200 Compound Management Workstation

In addition to these resources, the LDAP Core's most significant feature is its incorporation of an extensive suite of existing instrumentation, resources and personnel with their expertise, into the laboratory. These resources have been made available to the CMLD by the Molecular Structures Group (please see the MSG web page for more information), a consortium of service laboratories providing shared instrumentation to the KU research community.
